Do you have what it takes to become a SAFE Haven volunteer? We’re looking for people who love cats, love doing good for their community, and let’s be frank, don’t mind scoopin’ some poop. See if you are up to the job at our Open House event where you can learn about the essential role volunteers play in shelter maintenance, community outreach and adoptions.
Current volunteers and staff will be on hand to discuss opportunities, trainings, scheduling and the rewards of volunteering at SAFE Haven. Cat lovers ages 16 and up welcome.
When: Tuesday, September 15 from 6:30-8:00 PM
Where: SAFE Haven Clinic, 8411 Garvey Dr., Suite 109 in Raleigh
Why we need you: Volunteers are needed to help clean the cat cages, socialize the cats, represent SAFE Haven at community outreach events, work on special event committees like our Tuxedo Cat Ball, supporting office personnel with administrative projects and much more. The shelter offers volunteer positions for people ages 16 and up with all types of schedules and interests, and we are hoping to add approximately 100 volunteers this year.
