16,000 Cats!
We’re excited to announce that we have hit a big meow-lstone: 16,000 cats have been adopted from SAFE Haven! Bethany, lucky number 16,000, found a wonderful home. Thank you to all of you who have supported us so far and helped us get to this number, whether you’re an adopter or cat lover, we can’t do it without you. Meet the cats currently available for adoption and help us on our journey to 20,000!

3° Guarantee
During the month of July, we were the CBS 17 3° Guarantee partner. Wes Hohenstein and the Storm Team were pretty accurate and raised more than $2,700 for SAFE Haven. Thank you to the team and to Michael & Son for their matching donation!

Check the Chip
August 15 is National Check the Chip Day and it’s not a day for making sure your potato chips are stocked. Microchips are a great way to help ensure if you and your kitty are separated, but if your contact information isn’t up-to-date, you may not be reachable. To fix this, set a reminder every year to log into your microchip’s website and update your email and phone number. That way you can be the first call if your cat is found!
